NOVEMBER 2021

Our lab member Swapna is the Events-Head for the University of Vermont’s Indian Student Association (UVM- ISA) this year. Swapna, along with ISA’s other e-board members, organized the Diwali event this year on November 12th, 2021. Diwali, commonly known as "Festival of Lights", is one of the most popular festivals celebrated in the Indian subcontinent and symbolizes the spiritual victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance. The chief guests for this event were the President of UVM Dr. Suresh Garimella and UVM Vice Provost for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Dr. Amer Ahmed
