Distribution of Force Production During Overground Walking in Older Adults

This study aims to establish the reliability of coupled upper and lower limb force production measurements during overground walking in older adults who use an assistive device (e.g., cane), and examine relationships with clinical measures of strength and walking ability.

Biomarkers of Independent Walking After Stroke

This study is investigating predictors of walking recovery (i.e. clinical measures of strength, balance, and mobility, neuroimaging and/or blood markers) to help improve accuracy of walking prognosis and support rehabilitation planning in persons after stroke.

Use of Wearable Technology to Assess Community Mobility After Stroke

This study aims to use wearable technologies, such as body sensors and GPS, to examine how stroke has impacted community mobility and physical activity levels in persons with chronic stroke.
